I needed to renew my passport and made an appointment online. Everyone was courteous and friendly, so much so that while the person attending to my application had to go around the corner another staff member walked by and asked me if someone was taking care of me. Ten and twenty years ago there was a slightly threatening atmosphere at the time of making a passport renewal, which seems to have completely evaporated.

The service was pleasant, prompt, and professional. The young woman even offered to fill my water bottle from the staff cooler when I asked if there was a cooler in the building for customers. This was kindness going beyond official obligations and I very much appreciate it.
